Legacy Mechanical uses Microsoft Project to create internal project schedules from the GC’s CPM schedule. Upon monthly updates to CPM, Legacy Mechanical will create a new version of the internal schedule within Microsoft Project. A core feature of Project is a report tool called “Compare Projects”, which provides data & visual (Gantt) analysis of the differences between two schedule versions. LMI has leveraged this tool to provide backup for GC discussions about schedule concerns, cost impacts, and claims. During this webinar, Mike will walk us through Legacy's scheduling process which outlines how they use Microsoft Project and it's Compare Projects tool.
