Temp-Air is heating up Super Bowl XLVI in Indianapolis
Installation started on January 11 on a "tent city" for Super Bowl XLVI in Indianapolis. Temp-Air will be providing enough heating equipment to heat spaces several football fields in size, in cooperation with partner firm Karl's Event Services, provider of the tents.
Several months of planning and coodination of sales and service from our Illinois, Wisconsin, and Colorado offices were necessary to bring the site to life in just a matter of weeks. These tents, called the NFL Experience, will hold entertainment, food, and merchandise vendors.
Based on several years of having heated the ESPN Winter X Games, including the recently concluded 2012 games in Aspen, CO, Temp-Air will also be heating the ESPN Super Bowl broadcast tents. Over 110 hours of ESPN television coverage, as well as ESPN radio shows, will be broadcast from this temporary site inside the Super Bowl Village.
