Together We Really Do Make the Difference

On September 28, 2022, Hurricane Ian hit Southwestern Florida and impacted hundreds of families in the most tragic of ways. Having a member company located in Fort Myers, Florida, many of their employees were directly affected. Therefore, The Unified Group came together to create a ‘Hurricane Relief Fund’ to help B&I Contractor’s employees get back on their feet.

More than 20 companies within the group donated anywhere between $250 and $10,000 to create a total fund of nearly $60,000. The relief fund is for B&I Contractor’s employees’ housing damages, groceries, or other demanding bills. Ultimately, the B&I leadership team is providing the assistance to the employees as they see fit.

Though the situational circumstances are not ideal, that is what The Unified Group is ultimately about. Being there for one another, especially when they needed it, is what it means to be a member of The Unified Group. Together we make the difference, and we will continue to strive for excellence together, today and always.
