Each year, one company within The Unified Group is awarded the Making the Difference Award. The recipient must demonstrate extraordinary traits, such as but not limited to participating in multiple forums, offering a helping hand to anyone who might need it, and going above and beyond member expectations.

In 2023, Intech Mechanical attended five meetings, hosted a Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion webinar, invited members to their Town Hall meeting, and hosted a tour of their facility at the 2023 Construction Forum.

At the Construction Forum tour, other members were able to step foot inside Intech and experience the top-notch culture first-hand. Attendees could feel the passion and desire each employee had to work for such an inspiring and uplifting team. Members could feel the employees’ excitement to show off their hard work to their friends within the group. Therefore, Intech executed a very successful tour.

“I was thoroughly impressed with the tour,” Scott Krum, President of Legacy Mechanical, said. “You could feel the energy and passion every employee had for their position, peers and company.”

Intech also asks what more they can do to help their peers within the group. Whether it is providing insight to an email tool question, hosting a webinar, or sharing a successful practice at a forum, Intech is always striving to contribute to the group's success.

“When you hear ‘this is the best place I’ve ever worked at in my career,’ it means a lot and matters to us,” Gary Myers, Vice President of Marketing/Business Development at Intech Mechanical, said.

For all these reasons, Intech Mechanical has been awarded The Unified Group’s 2023 Making the Difference Award. Congratulations!

“This award for Intech is well deserved,” Chris Johnson, CAO of Johnson & Jordan, said. “They bring so much to the group. I didn't attend the Construction Forum, but I can only imagine the value they brought.”
