Shoffner Kalthoff Mechanical, Electrical Services and Shoffner Mechanical Services recently hosted a Leadership day for our field supervisory team.  At this meeting, we brought in Steve Thomas to speak to our team.  Steve was introduced to us through our attendance at several recent Unified Group meetings and his talk was truly enjoyed by all.

Steve spoke about leadership, leadership characteristics and the keys to being a successful leader.  In his talk Steve made an interesting juxtaposition between leaderships traits in the “real” world and our world of mechanical contracting.  He was able to open our eyes into the fact that as leaders we all have to embrace the personalities of those we lead.  By discussing generational traits as well as personality traits and citing specific examples, Steve was able to illustrate his points and more importantly, he was able to get his message across to everyone.

We have our Leadership meetings on a quarterly basis, and we will certainly invite Steve to share more of his insights and knowledge with our team.
