Service Unlimited, Inc. reached out to the group through the email tool expressing their urgent need for a Carrier DC fan motor for a unit serving a church. This was a Priority 1, high-alert situation, and the only fan motor they could find had a 240-day factory lead time.
With the help of Jonathan Jacovino of Environmental Systems, Inc., the motor was sourced and received on time and accurately. The fan blade was sourced through another vendor, and once all parts arrived, they were delivered to the technician for installation. The unit is now up and running. This was a critical system for the customer, and thanks to the quick response and collaboration, the issue was resolved with time to spare.
Brian Martinenza, President of Service Unlimited shared, “We are immensely grateful for his willingness to not only jump into the situation but also to handle it with efficacy and expediency. We were very thin on options, and it was absolutely stellar that ESI and the Unified Group were able to bail us out. We hope to have the opportunity to pay it forward some day. All of our respective operations teams should be thinking about the Unified Group when they are stuck with what seems like impossible options because you just never know what rabbit might get pulled out of the hat! Members have bailed me out with labor in the past and now with hard-to-get materials. We have received niche technical support, sound leadership advice, and ready-made HR policies. There’s nothing the Unified Group cannot do to help our businesses and there is nothing the HVAC gods could throw at us that this group of companies couldn’t come together to solve!”
Stories like this are a great reminder of what our members can accomplish through collaboration and a willingness to help one another. Together we make the difference!
