Jim Hopson (Shoffner) was looking for a vendor for Scotsman ice machine parts for one of their large clients. The pricing they were getting from their local supplier seemed very high, so Jim used The Unified Group’s Sales Email Tool to ask his fellow members for help.  After getting four replies back, Jim sent the following note:

“I want to thank everyone that responded to my question about Scotsman ice machine parts. With everyone’s help, I was able to obtain pricing that was 30% lower than my supplier. I was able to take this to my supplier and give him the choice of matching the price, or losing our business. They chose to match the 30% lower pricing. Thanks again to everyone in The Unified Group for teaming up on this.” 

The email tool is a great way to get the help or information you need fast.  Jim posted his question at 1:59 pm yesterday and by 7:34 am this morning he received the help he needed and the issue was resolved.  Help like this is invaluable and what makes our group so strong.
