In late February/early March of 2013, The Unified Group will
be hosting a Controls Technical Training class in Nashville that focuses on the
Trane building automation system.  The main objective of this class is
to prepare your technician to competently service the Trane automation
equipment covered in the class.

Requirements
This will be an advanced level class, which will allow the
attendees to have “hands on” exposure to the programming, graphics, and
configuration of a Trane system.  The technician will need to be equipped
with a laptop and have at least two years of experience working with another
brand of controls.  You may also send another technician along with your
experienced person who does not meet these requirements.  These parameters
will allow the class to move along at a brisk pace so that we can maximize the
amount of material we can cover in our time together (~4 days).  This
class will be limited to 20 attendees.

What will my technician be able to do afer attending this class>
· Approach a Trane control system or stand-alone
controller and use software and technical skills to troubleshoot the equipment
and then repair or replace the component, including configuration of the new
controller and installation into the system

· Make adjustments to the various Trane building
control systems using the customer computer to improve the operation of the
system or meet the customer needs

· Read the programming logic in the controllers to
understand the operating sequence of the equipment

· Use the service tool to troubleshoot and replace
sensors

· Use the controller to test components controlled
by the controller with Rover

· Use Tracer Summit or Tracer SC to trend points
in the system

· Configure email or text notification on Tracer
Summit or Tracer TU systems

We will keep you posted on the details of this session and registration will be open shortly.
