Lake Mary, FL (November 1, 2012) - The Manufacturer’s Association of Central Florida (MACF) announced the winners of this year’s Awards of Excellence at its Annual President’s Award Dinner at FARO Techno logies.

FARO Technologies is one of MACF’s manufacturing members. FARO Technologies is known for their development of computer-aided coordinate measurement and imaging devices.www.FARO.com 

John Ratzenberger was selected to present at the dinner. Ratzenberger was delighted to present at a manufacturer’s location as this was fitting for the setting of an Awards Night honoring Central Florida Manufacturers. 

Ratzenberger is well known for the sit-com “Cheers” character, Cliff Clavin, in addition to his famous voice recognized in all Pixar films. More recently, Ratzenberger produced and hosted “John Ratzenberger's Made in America” and is also a recognized spokesman for the M.O.S.T. (Mobile Outreach Skills Training) program: http://mostjobstraining.com/ and co-author of “We’ve Got it Made in America: A Common Man’s Salute to an Uncommon Country.”

“Manufacturers are economic drivers for our economy. It was a pleasure to recognize our partners during the President's dinner,” states Sherry Reeves, Executive Director, Manufacturers Association of Central Florida (MACF). 

MACF members were recognized in the following categories: Large Manufacturer (100+ employees), Small Manufacturer (under 100 employees), Associate/Supply Chain and Community Partner. 

The winners, chosen by category, were:

• Large Manufacturer – Mercury EPM Electronics & Plastics 

• Supply Chain/Associate Member - Innovative Service Solutions 

• Community Partner - Bill McDermott, Seminole County Government 

• President’s Award - Rod Rodrigue, Time Wise Management Systems

• Board Contributor - Al Stimac, Metal Essence Inc.

• Recognition of 100 Years of Accelerating Tomorrow
