Lots of ideas were shared at The Unified Group’s 2012 Annual Meeting/Owners’ Forum in Toronto, but it was Kevin Almon’s (Vital Mechanical) long-term planning that got a lot of members thinking. “I was doing well with short-term planning, but didn’t have any long-term planning done,” said Kevin. “My lawyer suggested that I needed a document that someone opens in case something bad happens.” Kevin’s document went to his wife and operations manager as a ‘What to do in case…’ survival guide for the business.
