After this year’s Annual Meeting Ryan Jorgensen, Jay Streator, and Camille Erickson (MSS) decided to visit two fellow Unified Group members in Tennessee. Both Nashville Machine and Shoffner Mechanical are using Maxwell, a system that MSS is considering.

“The trip was great,” said Ryan Jorgensen (General Manager at MSS). “Both companies were extremely accommodating.  Randy Stone (Service Manager at Nashville Machine) took a full day of his time to show us the company and had their CFO meet with us.” Nashville Machine was able to field all of MSS’ questions and provided great insight on the way they are using the system.

The next day the MSS team met with Todd Wolf (CFO at Shoffner) and his team for a couple hours to ask more questions. They also met with John Speed (Director of Operations at Shoffner) and the service division to go over the service module of the system and received answers to all of their questions.

“There couldn’t be two companies out there that were more accommodating or willing to help,” said Ryan. “It was very impressive and made us feel like less of a burden.  You know you always feel somewhat burdensome when you ask someone to take time out of their busy days to do something that isn’t revenue generating.”

MSS hasn’t made a decision on the change of software yet, but their entire team left feeling that if they went with Maxwell one of the huge benefits would be having Nashville Machine and Shoffner on the same system as them and that they could use each other as resources to better their businesses.

“Bottom line is experiences like our trip to Nashville Machine and Shoffner alone prove invaluable and make us proud to be part of The Unified Group,” said Ryan.
