More than 40 Unified Group members came to Green Bay, Wis. on Sept. 15th-18th for the Construction Operations and Safety Forum. We tackled a ton of topics in breakout sessions including prefab, fab shop management, job costing and tracking, claims management, recordable vs. non-recordable incidents, manpower and personnel management, and much more. Throughout the three day session members also heard Federated Insurance discuss what drives EMR, guest speaker Norb Slowikowski's 9 Critical Factors for Maximizing Profits, and Boretti, Inc's presentation on the big 4 OSHA violations. The highlight for many attendees was the tour of Tweet/Garot Mechanical, our Unified Group member in Green Bay. Members started day two of the meeting at Tweet's prefab shop to see their process firsthand, then travelled to their main location to tour their BIM/CAD department, tool crib, and see their new ViewPoint software.
