(a safety company that we have been working with) will be hosting a free hour- long NFPA70E webinar for Unified Group members.  Many of you saw him present at the Construction and Safety Forum in Green Bay last year.  The webinar will be on Wedensday, March 4th at 11 am CST. 

NFPA70E Electrical Safety in the Workplace

Purpose: To provide a safe working environment for employees working on or near electrical equipment or circuits.

Scope:  70E addresses electrical safety-related work practices, safety-related maintenance requirements, and other administrative controls for employee workplaces

• Practical safeguarding associated with electrical energy during activities
•  Installation, inspection, operations, maintenance, etc.

Objective:   To gain a better understanding of

• 70E – Electrical Safety in the Workplace
• Working safely around energized electrical equipment
• How electrical current affects the body
• Correct PPE for adequate protection
• Arc Flash conditions and dangers
